Christophe Lejeune is the Chief Executive Officer of Lazada Malaysia since January 2018.
As the CEO, Christophe is the driving force for the Lazada brand across Malaysia and is responsible for bringing products and brands to online shoppers in Malaysia. He is responsible for developing comprehensive plans to ensure the success of Lazada in Malaysia.
Prior to this, Christophe was Chief Commercial Officer since 2015. As the CCO, Christophe successfully accelerated growth of Lazada Malaysia, initiated business with brands in FMCG, Fashion and Electronics. He drove the fantastic growth of Lazada assortment (more than 100M products in Malaysia), launched new categories and rolled-out Alibaba’s best practices in category management.
Before joining Lazada, Christophe worked 6 years in strategic consulting for Boston Consulting Group (3 years in France and 3 years in Malaysia), where he was specialized in growth and transformation projects. He started his career in 2005 for French media group Lagardere as controller and then CFO for the subsidiary in Serbia. He launched travel retail business in Serbia and Montenegro.
Christophe graduated from HEC, France leading Business school in 2005, where he followed a specialization in Entrepreneurship.
